Branwen leads the GHPL initiative, overseeing the Berlin-based team and global partnerships. She champions a co-development approach, uniting cross-sector stakeholders and experts in global health, policy, and technology.
Her experience builds on developing and delivering strategic priorities and overseeing large international programmes in global health as funder, consultant and researcher. Previously, she held senior positions at Wellcome Trust, Medical Research Council Unit The Gambia, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), and she consulted for WHO and beyond.
Branwen holds a PhD in genetic epidemiology from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, and a Diploma in Epidemiology from LSHTM.
