On 12 October 2025 the Global Health Policy Lab (GHPL) hosted a World Health Summit Side Event to launch the GHPL Digital Repository for Health Policy, an AI-enabled platform designed to help advance health policymaking by providing comprehensive tools for accessing, comparing, and ultimately generating evidence-based health policies.
As artificial intelligence (AI) and novel digital tools rapidly reshape the health landscape, their role in policymaking is becoming both promising and contentious. This session explored with a cross-sectoral panel of experts:

GHPL is a growing collaborative currently comprising the Charité Center for Global Health, the Harvard Health Systems Innovation Lab, the Virchow Foundation, NOVA IMS Center for Global Health, the African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP), the African Population Health Research Center (APHRC) and beyond. GHPL was soft launched with the World Health Summit (WHS) and the UNITE Parliamentarians Network for Global Health as associated partners.
